iPad Light Painting

Following their “Making Future Magic” creative initiative, the London-based agency Dentsu and the design agency BERG developed this impressive method of using iPads to create moving typography. The short film features animated light shapes and words that travel playfully through the dark urban landscape.

HTML5-Enabled Comic Book

To promote IE9, Microsoft demonstrates the power of HTML5 in this Wild Wild West-themed comic book story, “Never Mind the Bullets.”

Toyota 3D projection mapping

An installation of the new Toyota Auris with Hybrid Synergy Drive uses projection mapping to bring to life the technology within the Auris itself. Glue Isobar used seven projectors to project a CG version of the car onto the real car, allowing observers to walk around the car and experience the effect.

A Bicycle Backpack With Signals

In an effort to make biking safer and more fun, Lee Myung Su Design Lab created the SEIL bag (Safe Enjoy Interact Light), a backpack with a built in LED controlled via remote to signal the riders direction and even feelings.

YouTube Live Streaming

YouTube recently launched a two-day test of it’s upcoming Live Streaming services. The company has confirmed that it plans to eventually offer live streaming to all of its content partners. Live streams will only be available on YouTube proper (you can’t embed it in widgets yet) and the footage won’t be archived.
