There’s a great article in TechCrunch today that talks about how location has the power to become the bridge between social networking and social interaction in the real world. The post calls out an interesting application called Socialgreat that mines the data of people ‘checking-in’ to different locations on twitter, foursquare, brightkite, graffitiGeo and tells you which spots are most popular by hour, day, week or year.
A necessary and good ‘next’ step towards making social networking even more ‘social’.
