Grow Interactive worked with Google to concept and develop Uncover Your World, a lovely mobile experience for Google’s Search App.

To build the ad experience, Grow modeled an entire “world” with 3D technology and used a 3D printer to bring it to life. Check out the making-of video below:

Jam3 – Bjork

Who doesn’t like Bjork?
Our friends at Jam3 http://www.jam3media.com/ who showed off their new site (coming soon) at FITC (its pretty insane) have been busy working with Bjork on her new site which just launched http://bjork.com/.
Its the first phase of her Biophilia project and it will continue growing over time.
HTML5 and they made their own 3D engine to parse the info coming out of Google Sketchup where it was designed by the Parisian artists M/M.

Editor’s Note: This is an excellent use and example of HTML5 + 3D being used in a site.  HTML5 works on mobile and iPad as opposed to Flash, which does not work on i-anything-mobile.

Interactive Flash film for the Web

BlaBla, a “film for computer” by Vincent Morisset explores human communication in six interactive chapters.

A user’s experience of the film depends entirely on how he/she moves through it, clicking, scrolling and dragging to produce playful sounds and whimsical scenes made with 2D drawing, real-time 3D mapping and puppet stop-motion animation.

YouCube: Three-dimensional YouTube

View and interact with YouTube videos in a dynamic new way — just choose six different YouTube videos, copy the URLs onto http://youcub.es to build your cube, and then use your mouse to move it around in 3D space. Each of the videos plays simultaneously, the volume fading in and out as it spins.

Then share your customized cube, or browse other cool ones people have made!
